Volunteer Policy

Play Studios welcomes volunteers who wish to support independent cinema through audience outreach, screenings, research, community building, and related activities.

Volunteer Status

Participation in any Play Studios volunteer program is entirely voluntary.

Volunteer participation does not create an employment relationship, internship relationship, agency relationship, partnership, or entitlement to compensation.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteers are expected to:

• Represent Play Studios respectfully and professionally

• Follow campaign guidelines and outreach instructions

• Communicate honestly and accurately

• Respect the privacy of organizations, partners, and community members

• Avoid unauthorized commitments on behalf of Play Studios

Recognition

Play Studios may offer certificates, acknowledgements, IMDb credits on eligible projects, recommendation letters, or other forms of recognition at its sole discretion.

Recognition programs may change without notice.

Termination of Participation

Volunteers may discontinue participation at any time.

Play Studios reserves the right to suspend or remove any volunteer whose conduct is inconsistent with campaign objectives, community standards, legal requirements, or organizational policies.

Intellectual Property

Materials created by volunteers specifically for Play Studios campaigns may be used by Play Studios for promotional, educational, archival, or operational purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
